Bike to the 500

Don't sit in traffic when you can pedal past the crowds on a police escorted route to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Join us at the Indianapolis City Market on Sunday, May 28 and Bike to the 500!

The fun starts at 7:00am on the east plaza of the City Market. Prep for your four mile bicycle ride with music, food, drinks and family fun! The party leaves downtown at 9:30 a.m. Ride with several hundred others from downtown to the grounds of Daredevil Brewing Company where your bicycle will be parked and monitored while you enjoy "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing."

After the race, you can wait out the traffic at the post race festival in the Daredevil parking lot where you can purchase food and drinks.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 the day of the event.

Grab some food, a few more drinks and let the traffic clear out before heading back downtown. You can do all of this back at Daredevil following the race. Bike parking becomes unattended at 6:00 p.m. Please plan to collect your bike by then.
