DISABILITY TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway provides a free, golf cart-type shuttle service for individuals with disabilities. This service is limited to the infield and to areas just behind and along the grandstands. Although the Speedway will endeavor to provide this service in the most efficient manner possible, the service is limited. Please note the following:

*This service is provided for individuals with disabilities only.

*Golf carts can be accessed at any one of the 10 disabled shuttle stops located throughout the Speedway grounds. For the nearest shuttle stop location, contact a Safety Patrol member or any Speedway staff member equipped with a radio. At the shuttle stop, inform the host of your intended destination.

*Guests should expect delays during peak times.

*To service all guests in need of this free service in a timely manner, use of these carts is restricted to the disabled guest and one companion or family member at peak times.

*On Race Day, disabled transportation will be stopped behind the grandstands along Georgetown Road approximately two hours prior to the start of the race until the start of the race, and again just before the end of the race until one hour after the race.

*For the safety of all guests, disability assistance carts may not be operational during heavy pedestrian traffic flow periods. IMS staff will determine when conditions are safe to resume operation.
