SCCA - 2017 SCCA RUNOFFS

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course will be the site of the 2017 SCCA National Championship Runoffs, with race days Sept. 28-Oct. 1. 

The event is unprecedented for both the Club and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, pitting the amateur National Championship event on the 14 turn, 2.439-mile road course that hosts the Verizon IndyCar Series’ Indycar Grand Prix.

Red Bull Air Race - Indianapolis

The world’s most elite master class pilots will soar to new heights above the skies of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this October in the newest addition to the Red Bull Air Race World Championship schedule.

The Red Bull Air Race World Championships is the ultimate motorsports competition in the sky and takes place with eight races across four continents. The objective is to navigate an aerial racetrack featuring air-filled pylons in the fastest possible time while incurring as few penalties as possible.

Lights at the Brickyard

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will bring new levels of cheer to this holiday season with a spectacular “Lights at the Brickyard” seasonal event. Attendees will experience more than 40 scenes filled with 400 light displays along a 1.7-mile driving experience, which includes crossing the famous “Yard of Bricks” at IMS. Exhibits will include festive holiday celebrations as well as racing themed installations throughout the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Pre-purchased tickets can be used on any of the following days:

Nightly Schedule
Sunday-Thursday 6-9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday is 6-10 p.m.

Standard lane: Standard lane prices are:
Monday-Wednesday: $25 per car
Thursday-Sunday: $30 per car.
Standard lane tickets are only available on site. Cannot be purchased in advance. The standard lane entrance is Gate 2, off of 16th Street.

The standard lane price for vehicles with 15+ passengers is $50 at all times.

Indy 500 Snake Pit Presented by Coors Light

The Snake Pit Presented by Coors Light is a festival of friends and fun. It’s incredible live dance music. It’s games. Guys. Girls. The gateway to summer. The perfect way to party at the world’s largest spectator-sporting event, the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.

All Snake Pit attendees must also hold a valid Indy 500 Race Day ticket. The Snake Pit is part of the Indy 500 Race Day activities. You cannot get in with just the Snake Pit wristband.

NASCAR - Lilly Diabetes 250 - Saturday

NASCAR weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway fires up with the XFINITY Series, featuring the sport’s upstarts battling against established stars. The 2016 event featured heat races to set the field in qualifying, a first for NASCAR that debuted in 2016 at four select tracks including the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In 2015, Kyle Busch kicked off a double-win weekend at IMS by winning this race.

NASCAR - Big Machine Brickyard 400

The Brickyard isn’t just another stop on the NASCAR schedule. Points racing and Chase berths take a backseat for the weekend as drivers chase one of the series’ biggest titles and the chance to “Kiss the Bricks,” an IMS tradition across all races that started with champion Dale Jarrett at the 1996 Brickyard 400. Legends including Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart have prevailed here, you’ll want to be sure to come and see who triumphs next on Sunday, September 9, 2018!
