Race fans have a unique opportunity to ask questions to two Indianapolis Motor Speedway legends – Rick Mears and Jimmie Johnson – during a live video chat Thursday, June 10 from IMS.
Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Mears and three-time Brickyard 400 winner Johnson will answer fan questions together from 4:45-5:15 p.m. (ET). Fans are encouraged to submit questions in advance at the IMS Twitter feed, @IndyTalk or www.twitter.com/IndyTalk.
The live video of the chat can be viewed by clicking here.
Johnson has cited fellow Californian Mears as one of his racing idols, as both started their auto racing careers in off-road racing before moving to asphalt. Johnson will attempt to join Mears as a four-time winner at IMS on July 25 in the Brickyard 400, which he won in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
